Local departure by coach, then on to Blackpool and our hotel for four nights.
Mince pies, tea and coffee on arrival, then a chance to settle into your room, get to know the hotel and staff, or relax in the lounge. This evening, enjoy a pre-dinner Buck's Fizz reception followed by dinner and entertainment.
This morning we visit Oswaldtwistle Mills, an award-winning shopping village. A former weaving mill with hundreds of years of history, it now has over 100 retailers all under one roof offering gifts, textiles, fashion and more.
If you choose to spend the day in the hotel instead, why not enjoy afternoon tea around 3pm with a game of Bingo to while away the afternoon. Later this evening enjoy dinner and fabulous live entertainment.
Merry Christmas! After exchanging and opening gifts please join us for Christmas Breakfast in the restaurant at 8.30am. Father Christmas will be dropping in at 11am with a present for everyone, staying for morning coffee and some games. At 1pm a traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings will be served in the restaurant. At 3pm The King’s message will be shown in the main lounge, after which an afternoon tea will be served at 4pm with Prize Bingo. A Gala buffet dinner will be served at 6.30pm followed by fun entertainment in the bar.
Today we visit the Lake District and the popular lakeside town of Bowness. Located between Waterhead and Lakeside on the shore of Lake Windermere, Bowness has a pleasant town centre and glorious setting, and is consequently one of the most visited towns in the Lake District. Enjoy time at leisure to admire the beautiful Victorian and Edwardian architecture, browse the local shops or relax and watch the boats sail by on the lake, the choice is yours!
There will be another afternoon tea this afternoon in the hotel, followed by a final dinner and evening of entertainment.
We depart the hotel this morning, filled with magical Christmas memories, and return home.
