This evening, why not visit Ypres on our optional excursion, enjoying some time to see the Market Square and dinner in one of the many cafés and restaurants.
At 8pm we will experience the Last Post ceremony, performed every evening since 11 November 1929, before returning to our hotel.

Another chance to explore Lille and any stalls you didn't manage to see yesterday. As well as the market, Lille has grown into one of France's most important cities, famous for its industrial roots and transformed into the modern, cultural city it is today. The Old Town, with its many picturesque, cobbled lanes, is home to impressive French and Flemish architecture including the famous Vieille Bourse. The Grand Place is a favourite hangout of the locals, with many cafés and bars.
