Bournemouth & Weymouth Weekend

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Bournemouth and our hotel for three nights.

Today we enjoy an included excursion to Weymouth. which is a vibrant seaside resort with beautiful golden beaches, a pretty harbour and a rich history. Situated on the Jurassic coast there is so much to explore. We will also stop in Portland to view its famous lighthouse, one of more than 60 functioning lighthouses in the UK. The lighthouse has been in operation since 1903 and stands at around 41 metres tall, showing off its vibrant red and white colours.

Relax in Bournemouth, or join our optional excursion to explore two more of Dorset's seaside resorts. Poole & Swanage, Poole Harbour is the second largest natural harbour in the world and is littered with tiny islands that form a unique habitat for wildlife. Today it hosts visiting tall ships, fishing vessels and luxury motor yachts. Stroll the historic quayside and then why not enjoy a coffee in one of the many cages in the heart of the old town. We then will visit Swanage further along the Jurassic coast. With beautiful beach and traditional seaside atmosphere why not stroll along the pier and catch a Punch and Judy show.
