Turkey & Tinsel in Bournemouth and Salisbury Christmas Markets

Local departure by coach, then on to Bournemouth and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a tea, coffee, and mince pie on arrival to get us into the spirit of the season.

Join the included excursion today to historic Salisbury. Visit the cathedral which boasts Britain's tallest spire standing at a breathtaking 123 meters. The city retains much of its medieval centre with a delightful market square and shopping streets can easily be explored by foot. It also hosts a fantastic Christmas Market so why not enjoy a mulled wine and browse around the traditional stalls.

Return to the hotel for dinner which will be Christmas themed, complete with traditional dinner with crackers and festive music.

A day at leisure to enjoy Bournemouth during the festive season. Enjoy a visit to the magical Christmas market. Take a walk through the iconic Christmas Tree Wonderland and experience the stunning spectacle of over 100 glittering trees and illuminations lighting your path from the market all the way down to the seafront. Treat yourself to a glass of mulled wine at the Alpine bar, or why not pick up some thoughtful gifts from the traditional market stalls.

Included today is an included excursion to Weymouth. Explore the historic harbour area where you might be lucky enough to see the opening of Weymouth Town Bridge. Why not enjoy some festive shopping in the small independent shops, some of which specialising in fresh fish, pasties and pies, cheese, wine and more, you won’t go far without being tempted into buying some fantastic Dorset food and drink.

We then visit the pretty town of Poole before returning to the hotel.
