A village like no other, this ancient fishing village clings to the 400 foot cliff-side and is famous for being traffic-free, where donkeys and sledges help the locals make their way up and down the steep, cobbled streets that lead down to the harbour. On your way back up, why not take a break at one of the cosy pubs for a plate of local seafood or a Devonshire cream tea in one of the many cafés, or you may prefer to take one of the local Land Rovers back to the top (extra charges payable locally, subject to availability).
