We have free time today to enjoy Mainz, located on the confluence of the Rhine and Main, where every year the market square becomes a stunning spectacle of lights and aromas. The imposing Cathedral of St. Martin provides a perfect backdrop to the festively decorated stalls, with their advent gifts and delicious treats.
We head back towards Belgium for an overnight stay.
Return home.
