Our day begins with a visit to the beautiful city of Maastricht. Explore the delightful old city centre or take some time out to discover the Stokstraat Quarter, the Basilica of Our Lady and the Ramparts. The streets and squares are home to festive Christmas markets at this time of year, offering all kinds of gifts and local delicacies. Nestled in the heart of the city is Vrijthof square, which will be brimming with winter chalets, beautiful decorations and traditional attractions – be sure to walk through the sparkling tunnel of lights! With a magical atmosphere and festive cheer all around, you’re certain to leave feeling merry and bright.
This evening, we make our way to the concert hall in Maastricht to watch André for an unforgettable experience. From the moment you enter the concert hall, you’ll be immersed in the magical atmosphere, with stunning palace decoration, romantic lighting and much more. Playing enchanting Christmas carols, charming waltzes, and wonderful songs from all corners of the world, this will be an evening you’ll never forget!
Today, we make the short journey to explore Brussels and its festive Christmas Markets with its cheerful lights, delicious aromas and a vast number of stalls, promises a true festive atmosphere. With exhibitors from all over Europe setting up wooden chalets around the Bourse (Stock Exchange), Place Sainte Catherine and the Fish market you are sure to find plenty of stocking fillers. Whichever chalets you visit you will find plenty of Christmas goodies, handicrafts and various seasonal gastronomic delights.
