With the rest of the day free to explore at your own pace, why not browse the bustling shops or indulge in a cream tea in one of the plentiful tea rooms? When you return to the hotel, relax and soak up the views from the terrace lounge.

After breakfast, we visit the gem of Cornwall, St. Ives, with its famous beaches and pretty cobbled streets that lead to the picture-postcard harbour – it is little wonder why this seaside town is one of the most visited in the region.

We also call at the ancient market town of Penzance, famous for its pirates – or at the least the singing variety! Penzance is also known for its historic port and the fantastic Wharfside Shopping Centre, which is home to both well-known brands and local specialists.

Today we visit Truro – a haven for food lovers! With plenty of time to explore at your own pace, be sure to enjoy a traditional Cornish pasty or cream tea in one of the many cafés, or why not start your Christmas shopping in the plentiful array of independent and high street shops? The magnificent Truro Cathedral is also worth a visit.
