Enjoy a full day exploring some of the most famous destinations in the Rhine Valley. We start in Koblenz; known for being the confluence of both the Rhine and Moselle Rivers, the city boasts pretty squares, historic churches and half-timbered buildings.
We also visit Boppard with its quaint old towns and charming shops, and St. Goar which is renowned for being home to the largest free-hanging cuckoo clock in the world.
Today, we enjoy a full-day excursion to Bonn and Cologne. First, we visit Bonn, the former capital of the ‘Federal Republic of Germany’. Home to Germany’s largest university and birthplace of the brilliant composer Ludwig van Beethoven, Bonn has attracted visitors from all over the world for hundreds of years. Be sure to see many of the famous sights, including the old City Hall and the Münster – the city’s oldest church.
Afterwards, we will head to Cologne. With its 19th-century towers, Cologne's impressive Gothic cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Germany's most-visited attraction. Wander through the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, admire the medieval churches, or explore the post-modern quarter on the banks of the River Rhine.
Return home.
