Today you are free to explore Amsterdam at your leisure. Amsterdam boasts 120 canals, 1280 bridges and a host of museums. During your free time, why not admire the 17th-century merchant houses or the floating flower market, which is ablaze with colour in every season. There are many traditional and contemporary art galleries too and of course, Amsterdam is a haven for shoppers. We enjoy dinner on board the ship and set sail for Arnhem.

We arrive into Arnhem and this morning, where there’s the opportunity to join our optional walking tour of Arnhem, in the company of a local guide. Arnhem is probably most famous for The Battle of Arnhem which was one of the largest battles in WWII. On our walking tour, you’ll see some of the key battle locations such as the John Frost Bridge and the St. Elisabeth Gasthuis. Learn more about the rich history of Arnhem as you pass the historic Rozet Building, as well as Devil's House and Sabers Gate too. We return to the ship for lunch, and we set sail for Cologne overnight.

You’re free to explore at leisure before we return to the ship for lunch and onward sailing towards Rüdesheim. This morning we arrive into the magnificent city of Strasbourg, which is well known for its world heritage status. You can enjoy our fantastic optional excursion cruising along Strasbourg’s waterways, which is a great way to see the city. We set sail for Mainz this evening.
