Day One - UK to France
We start our journey to Calais and onwards into France for our overnight stay.
Day Two - France to Leissigen
We continue onto Switzerland and Lake Lucerne, arriving in Leissigen in time for dinner and our six night stay. (B,D)
Day Three - Lucerne via the Emmental Valley
Today we take a full day tour to Lucerne via the Emmental Valley. For more than a century this beautiful lakeside city, with its well-preserved medieval core and elegant buildings, has been one of the greatest tourist attractions in Switzerland. Lucerne boasts a lovely quarter with medieval squares and old churches. From the town there are stunning views of the mountains from the lake. You may wish to take in the views from the lake and we give you the option to join us on a lake boat cruise. (B,D)
Day Four - Glacier Express
Today we take a full day of adventure as we travel from Lake Thun up to Brig on the famous Lotschberg line, before joining the Glacier Express for a spectacular journey to Andermatt. (B,D)
Day Five - Leissigen
Today you have the option of relaxing in resort or joining us on an optional excursion to Grindelwald & Kleine Scheidegg by train. This excursion is to Kleine Scheidegg, a settlement of literally a few buildings dramatically situated under the north face of the Eiger then onto Grindelwald by train. Grindelwald is a popular resort, situated in a spectacular position on the slopes of the Schwarze Lutschine valley. (B,D)
Day Six - Leissigen
Once again today we offer you the option of free time in the resort or joining us on our optional tour on the Golden Pass Panoramic Train to Montreux. On this tour we travel along the Simmental Valley boarding the Golden Pass Panoramic train at Zweisimmen. Passing the upmarket resort of Gstaad, the train continues through spectacular scenery to Montreux, on the shores of Lake Geneva. (B,D)
Day Seven - Bern & Interlaken
Today we venture out to Bern & Interlaken. Firstly a visit to Bern the historic Swiss capital, whose enchanting old town is decorated with fountains and arcaded streets. We also offer an optional guided city tour which features the major highlights, including the Gothic Cathedral of St Vincent and the Marktgasse to ensure you don't miss anything. We then head off to Interlaken, situated between Lakes Thun and Brienz below the Jungfrau Massif. (B,D)
Day Eight - Leissigen to France
We have to say farewell to Switzerland today as we head back into Northern France for our overnight stay. (B,D)
Day Nine - France to UK
After breakfast we head to Calais for our return home. (B)

Full Day: Glacier Express
After breakfast we make our way to Spiez where we enjoy our first train ride to Brig. We travel on the famous Lotschberg Line with a 9.1 mile long tunnel. At Brig we join the famous Glacier Express for a spectacular journey to Andermatt. Sit back and watch the dramatic Swiss Alpine scenery unfold from the comfort of your carriage.
Full Day: Bern and Interlaken
Today we venture out to Bern & Interlaken. First we visit Bern, the historic Swiss capital whose enchanting old town is decorated with fountains and arcaded streets. We continue to Interlaken, situated between the lakes of Thun and Brienz below the Jungfrau Massif.

Bern Guided Walking Tour
We’ll discover more about Bern’s excellent history and will explore some of the city’s most famous attractions with an exciting guided walking tour. Accompanied by our experienced guide, we’ll learn about the city’s park and will be able to see sights such as the medieval arcades, the city’s many markets, the Houses of Parliament and many other attractions.
Golden Pass Train to Montreux
We'll take a ride on this famous train line, travelling to Montreux, and will be able to admire the wonderful natural scenery all about us as we travel. We'll then enjoy free time in Montreux to explore the local area, returning to our hotel by coach.
Grindelwald And Kleine Scheidegg by Train
Join our excursion is to Kleine Scheidegg, a settlement of just a few buildings dramatically situated under the north face of the Eiger. Take in this unique setting, before we continue our journey to Grindelwald by train. This popular resort is located in a spectacular position on the slopes of the Schwarze Lutschine valley, and we'll be able to take in beautiful scenery during our relaxing train ride.
Lake Lucerne Cruise
Join us for a wonderful optional excursion today, as we enjoy a superb cruise on Lake Lucerne. This splendid lake is famous for its amazing scenery, with placid waters and surrounding mountains, and we’ll get to take in this incredible landscape during our cruise.
