The South Downs National Park begins just outside of town and is easily accessible and even by walking you can easily reach Beachy Head and a little further along the coast, The Seven Sisters. Fashionable Brighton is on the other end of a scenic train ride through the park and here you can see famous sights such as the fashionable Royal Pavilion or enjoy independent shops in The Lanes area of the city.

Bexhill-on-Sea And Battle
We enjoy an excursion to the town of Bexhill-on-Sea, a beautiful seaside town famous for its modernist architecture, particularly that of the De La Warr Pavilion. On the way we will visit the town of Battle, which grew up around an Abbey built on the exact spot where Harold, King of England died during the Battle of Hastings.
