Tossa de Mar, with its beautiful sunny beaches and fantastic location on the Costa Brava is an excellent holiday destination and is the ideal place to visit if you want to enjoy sun, sand and sea. With its close location to Barcelona and its amazing seafront, there’s nothing better than a break in this sunny destination.
We’ll be staying at the Hotel Golden Bahia, which is ideally placed in Tossa de Mar and offers comfortable accommodation. While in Tossa de Mar, we’ll be afforded with lots of free time which we can spend as we wish, from sunbathing on the beach to exploring the local town. We’ll also enjoy our included excursions during our holiday, taking a trip to a local market and Barcelona, making the most of our time here.

The best beaches in Tossa de Mar include Platja Gran, the main beach which is overlooked by the town’s medieval castle. Next up, there’s La Mar Menuda; while it’s considerably smaller than Platja Gran it’s no less gorgeous. El Codolar beach is what many would consider a ‘hidden beach’, as it’s only accessible through a small doorway in the town’s historic walls. Once on the beach though, it’s clear to see that it’s one of the best in the town - it’s small, tucked away and features incredible views.

In Tossa de Mar itself, we’ll be able to wander along the quaint cobblestone streets and enjoy the Old Town, where we’ll get to admire the medieval architecture. There’s more than enough to do in the town, but one of the most enjoyable pastimes here is to simply take the time to relax!
