This fantastic tour takes you to the top of mighty Mount Snowdon, as we join the Snowdon Mountain Railway for an amazing experience. With awe-inspiring views from Hafod Eryri, the visitor centre at the summit, you’ll want to remember your camera for this great break! We’ll also explore historical Caernarfon, and take a trip to charming Betws-y-Coed.

Itinerary

Day One - Home to Llandudno
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Llandudno, where we’ll check in to the Bay County Hotel and will enjoy a sumptuous evening meal. (D)

Day Two to Four - Llandudno
We’ll have a great time, with two excursions to make the most of. We’ll enjoy a journey on-board the wonderful Snowdon Mountain Railway, reaching the summit of this amazing mountain to admire spectacular views. As well as this, we’ll take in amazing Caernarfon and visit charming Betws-y-Coed. (B,D)

Day Five - Llandudno to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

  • Stay right on Llandudno’s famous seafront close to all the towns’ attractions, shops, bars and restaurant
  • Enjoy live evening entertainment in the ballroom and a drink in the adjoining bar
  • Climb to the top of great or little Orme for views over the town or easily discover nearby Snowdonia

Llandudno is the biggest seaside resort in Wales and has been attracting tourists since the Victorian Era and you can stay with us right in the resort’s centre at the County Hotel.

The best of Llandudno’s attractions including the Victorian Pier, the Alice in Wonderland trail and the Oriel Mostyn Gallery are all within a short walk of the hotel. One of the town’s top attractions is Great Orme, which can be travelled up by on Great Orme Tramway or by foot if you are feeling active. From the top you will enjoy great views back over the town and over to Snowdonia National Park.

Heading inland you can get an even closer look at the Snowdonia National Park with a scenic drive through it. Highlights in the park include Snowdon itself, the top of which can be accessed by Snowdon Mountain Railway from Llanberis. The towns of Blaenau Ffestiniog and Portmadog are outside of the park but still make for elegant destinations to visit and will mean a ride through stunning scenery on the way.

The hotel sits right on the seafront with a number of fantastic shops and restaurants in close proximity. Inside we have a ballroom with bar and dance floor and you will be able to enjoy tasty breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant while enjoying great views over the seafront.

Full Day: Snowdonia and Snowdon Mountain Railway

Make the most of an amazing excursion today, as we make our way into Snowdonia National Park to soak up the incredible scenery. We will join the Snowdon Mountain Railway to reach the summit of Wales' highest peak.

Dominating the landscape of Snowdonia, take in breath-taking views en route to the summit and venture to the very top of the peak from the visitor centre, or simply take in the views before your return journey back down the mountainside. We also take a trip to historical Caernarfon.

Half Day: Betws-y-Coed

Join us on a wonderful scenic drive through the Conwy Valley as we make our way to Betws-y-Coed. This charming destination is the principal village of the Snowdonia National Park and is surrounded by amazing scenery.
