Day One - Home to Scarborough
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Scarborough, where we’ll check in to our hotel and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two and Three - Scarborough
We'll spend the next two days in the beautiful Victorian resort of Scarborough, with two great included excursions helping us enjoy the very best that North Yorkshire has to offer.
We take a scenic drive along the coast, through the magnificent North York Moors to the town of Whitby. Notable sights while you're here include eerie Whitby Abbey and museums on two of the most famous people associated with the town, Dracula and Captain Cook.
We also visit the iconic city of York, where there are a number of attractions tracking the city's history back almost 2000 years.
Scarborough is a fantastic seaside resort with plenty to see and do, The castle is a major tourist magnet and the South Bay with its traditional coastal attractions makes a great day out. (B,D)
Day Four - Scarborough to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)
The Norbreck Hotel is the only hotel in Scarborough that gives wonderful panoramic views across both the North and South Bays from its prominent position on the headland.

In the hotel you can of course take in the stunning views of the coastline from the restaurant while enjoying delicious meals followed by relaxing drinks in the bar and great entertainment in the hotel’s ballroom. All of our standard rooms are fashionably decorated and there is the option to upgrade to a standard plus room for even greater comfort.
Excursion to York
From the Romans to the Vikings and eventually the House of Plantagenet during the War of the Roses, York has always been a hugely important historic city. You will have free time to explore the Minister, quaint shops and historic pubs on the Shambles, the city walls or the recently restored Jorvik Viking centre, to get a real feel of York's past. You'll definitely find something to suit you for an afternoon in this incredible city.
