Stuttgart plays host to one of Europe's largest Christmas markets, with more than 200 delightfully decorated stalls. Ulm's cathedral is the focal point for its atmospheric Christmas market and medieval Rothenburg's has a famous Christmas shop, a treasure trove of unique gifts and decorations, in addition to the festive markets.

Day One: UK to Belgium
We start our journey as we cross to Calais. From here we continue through France and into Belgium for our overnight stay.

Day Two: Belgium to Langenau
We continue after breakfast into Germany and to our hotel in the resort of Langenau. En route we stop in pretty Rothenburg for free time. (B,D)

Day Three: Langenau
Enjoy our included excursion to discover the festive markets in Ulm and Stuttgart. (B,D)

Day Four: Langenau to France
Sadly it is time to say farewell to Germany as we retrace our steps back to France in time for dinner. (B,D)

Day Five: France to UK
We arrive into Calais for the return crossing to the UK. From here we make our final journey home. (B)

En route: Rothenburg

We call at the beautiful town of Rothenburg, located on Bavaria’s famous ‘Romantic Road’, where festive stalls are in a wonderful medieval setting. We'll enjoy time at leisure to discover one of Germany's most romantic Christmas markets with our en route visit. 


Full Day: Ulm and Stuttgart

We enjoy a fantastic excursion to Ulm and Stuttgart today. In Ulm, the city's cathedral, with the tallest spire in the world, becomes the focal point for a very atmospheric Christman market. More than 100 decorated booths, a glass workshop and live animals really enhance the festive mood here. 

After our time in Ulm, we'll make our way to Stuttgart, where its Christmas Market boasts an exquisite display of tradition and festive joy that will be a treat to visit. We’ll have some time to explore the markets, which will be adorned with Christmas lights and decorations. With everything from handmade trinkets to tasty local cuisine to luxury items available, you’re sure to be able to find something special here.
