Cobbled streets, gorgeous stone buildings and the wonderful mix of unique shops, everywhere you turn there’s something to catch your eye and Bath is steeped in history and heritage. There are so many great places to visit.
Day One: Home to Bath
We'll make our way from the interchange to Bath, where we'll check in to the Lansdown Grove Hotel and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Four: Bath
We spend the next three days in Bath, exploring this grand Regency era city and the surrounding countryside of Wiltshire and Somerset on two included excursions.
We first travel to the pretty Wiltshire villages of Bradford-upon-Avon, before visiting one of the countries most iconic sites, Stonehenge.
We then visit Cheddar, home to both the eponymous cheese, nestled among the scenic Mendip Hills where you will have free time to explore Cheddar Gorge, a magnificent landscape famous for the Cheddar man, one of Britain's earliest human fossils.
You’ll also have time to explore Bath, with a number of great attractions; including the ancient Roman baths just a stone’s throw away. (B,D)
Day Five: Bath to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

Heading out of town the beautiful Cotswolds spread to the north with picture perfect villages and patchwork fields. Or travel to the Mendip Hills where you can visit the town of Cheddar and magnificent Cheddar Gorge.
Full Day: Wiltshire Villages And Stonehenge
Excursion travelling via the pretty Wiltshire village of Bradford-upon-Avon to visit the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge. Walk in the footsteps of our ancestors - one of the wonders of the world and the best known pre-historic monument in Europe. The mighty stone circle never fails to impress.
Half Day: Cheddar
We’re off to Cheddar today! The village is home to the very English Cheddar Cheese, and situated next to Cheddar Gorge, an awesome ravine which cuts through the limestone of the Mendip Hills. The town itself has a number of historic churches including the 14th century church of St Andrew. In the centre of the town you will see the market cross which dates as far back as the 15th century and used to mark the town’s square.
