Itinerary

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then we board the ferry to the Isle of Man*, and on to our hotel for four nights.

From Douglas, we enjoy a journey on the Manx Electric Railway, still operating with Victorian and Edwardian rolling stock. Built betwen 1893 and 1899 the line connects the capital Douglas with Laxey where we disembark.

At Laxey, we join the Snaefell Mountain Railway and journey to the summit. At 621 metres above sea level, Snaefell offers breath-taking, panoramic views where you can catch a glimpse of England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man and the kingdoms of heaven on a clear day!

Relax in resort with a day at leisure or join our optional excursion to Peel, which has connections with the island’s rich Celtic, Viking, and maritime past. Today we join the Isle of Man Steam Railway for a wonderfully nostalgic journey. It is the long narrow guage steam line in Britain and still uses its original locomotives and carriages that will carry you through the charming countryside to pretty Port Erin.

Then we go on to enjoy the views of Cregneash before returning through Port St. Mary and Castletown.

I think you should be informing people of your terms and conditions. This is particularly important when you expect me to sit next to a large person who is taking half my seat as well as their own. It made me feel very uncomfortable and I don't feel I'd like to book another holiday with the company.
