Day One - UK to Prague
Fly from a local airport to Prague, where we are met and transferred to the four-star Jury’s Inn Hotel in Prague for dinner and a two night stay. This excellent located is located within walking distance of the Castle District. (D)
Day Two - Prague
Our included walking tour introduces you to the main sights of Prague including the Castle District, with its splendid views over the Vitava River, the famous Charles’ Bridge and the colourful Old Town Square. (B,D)
Day Three - Prague to Vienna
We travel by coach from Prague to the elegant city of Vienna, arriving our hotel in time for dinner and a three night stay. (B,D)
Day Four - Vienna
Enjoy an included guided sightseeing tour of Vienna this morning. You’ll see the impressive Ringstrasse, which surrounds the inner city; the famous Vienna State Opera House and the Schönbrunn Palace. Elegant streets and pedestrian precincts, dotted with inviting coffee shops, fan out from the main square, where St Stephen’s Cathedral forms a soaring backdrop. (B,D)
Day Five - Budapest
We take a full day excursion from Vienna to the Hungarian capital of Budapest, with its grand old buildings and sweeping bridges. We offer an optional guided sightseeing tour to see the main sights of this city, including the Chain Bridge and the ornate Parliament buildings. (B,D)
Day Six - Vienna to UK
Our holiday draws to a close, as we transfer to the airport for our flight home. (B)

Full Day: Budapest
Join us on a full day trip to the beautiful Hungarian capital of Budapest, where the two original districts of Buda and Pest are set out on each side of the Danube River. With its sweeping bridges and grand old buildings, including the monumental Parliament, and Matthias Church, this is becoming one of the most popular city destinations in Europe.
Prague Guided Walking City Tour
Enjoy a tour of the main sights of this historical city, known as the 'City of a Hundred Spires'. Take in the splendid views of the Vitava River, see the famous Charles' Bridge and colourful Old Town Square. There are so many historical buildings to admire, making this is a wonderful city to stroll at leisure.
Vienna Guided Coach Tour
We'll see some of the famous sights of this historical city on an included guided tour of Vienna, including the impressive Ringstrasse which surrounds the inner city, and the Hofburg Palace.
Budapest Guided City Tour
One of the most magnificent cities in the world, Budapest is filled with incredible sights and sounds. Join us as we take a city tour to learn more about this wonderful capital of Hungary, with its stunning architecture, historical attractions and marvellous culture.
Budapest is actually two cities astride the Danube. Our guided tour of Budapest takes us by coach on a visit to both.
On the Pest side we see St Stephen’s Basilica, Vajdahunyad Castle and Heroes’ Square, which is dominated by the impressive Millenary Monument, home to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
We then cross to Buda and the Castle District, where we find the seven-hundred year-old Matthias Church, one of the jewels of Budapest. We also see the famous Fisherman’s Bastion, which offers great views over the city.
The city is home to the largest medicinal bath in Europe (Szechenyi Medicinal Bath) and the third largest Parliament building in the world, once the largest in the world. The city also contains the third largest church in Europe (Esztergom Basilica) and the second largest Baroque castle in the world (Godollo).
Vienna by night
Join us as we get to know Vienna by night with our short city tour taking in the Ringstrasse where you will be dazzled by the majestic buildings and bright lights. We see the giant Ferris Wheel, House of Johann Strauss where he composed the Blue Danube Waltz. We then cross the Danube to the city centre seeing the Ringstrasse with monuments of Radetzky, Maria Theresia and Mozart. We also see the State Opera, Parliament, Karlsplatz and the Imperial Palace before passing by the birthplace of the composer Franz Schubert and on to our wine tavern in a nearby village.
Here we sample the wonderful atmosphere of this busting city as a local Schrammel musician plays the accordion or violin whilst we enjoy a glass of wine and sparkling water, a truly Viennese experience to remember.
