    Mount Stewart

Today we visit two of the National Trust's properties. First to Mount Stewart House & Gardens, an 18th century neo-classical house that oozes opulence. It has been subject to a major restoration project resulting in four brand new rooms are also available to view. On then past the tranquil waters of Strangford Lough to Castle Ward, a unique 18th century mansion, famed for its mixture of architectural styles and recently used as a film location for Game of Thrones.

    The Argory

We visit another National Trust Property, The Argory, a handsome Irish gentry house standing majestically in a 320 acre wooded riverside estate. A guided tour of the house reveals fascinating family stories and you really get a true sense of the history of this welcoming family home.
