Munich's Christmas Market is one of Germany's oldest, attracting visitors from all over Europe who come to admire the 140 stalls. We also visit Linderhof Castle, one of King Ludwig II's fairytale castles.
Day One: UK to Belgium
We start our journey as we cross to Calais. On arrival we continue through France and into Belgium for our overnight stay.
Day Two: Belgium to Lechaschau
We continue our journey as we head to our main stay hotel in Lechaschau for the next four nights. (B,D)
Day Three: Lechaschau
Relax and enjoy the magical town of Lechaschau or join our optional half day excursion to visit Neuschwanstein Castle. (B,D)
Day Four: Garmisch & Linderhof
Our full day excursion will be to the picturesque village of Garmisch and fairy-tale Linderhof Castle. (B,D)
Day Five: Munich
We spend the day in Munich, for free time to explore, with a wonderful Christmas market on the Marienplatz being one of the festive highlights. (B,D)
Day Six: Lechaschau to Belgium
We depart Lechaschau and continue to our overnight hotel in Belgium. (B,D)
Day Seven: Belgium to UK
We return to Calais for our return ferry back to Dover. From here we make our way home. (B)
Hotel Goldene Rose
The Goldene Rose is less than one kilometre from the attractive centre of Reutte, in the small village of Lechaschau. The hotel's elegant restaurant, with its wooden carved ceiling and open fire, is comfortably furnished in typical style, creating an authentic Tyrolean atmosphere.

Garmisch And Linderhof Castle
Enjoy a half day included excursion to the mountain resort town of Garmisch, the number one winter sports venue in Germany. We continue to Linderhof Castle, known amongst the locals as the "Wedding Cake" a minor replica of Louis the XIV's Versailles.
