Take in the incredible Monaco Grand Prix, thought by many to be one of the most important races in the entire world. This circuit is famous for its glamour and prestige, and we’ll be able to see the action up close on this excellent holiday.
Join us as we make our way from the UK, via Calais, to France for an overnight stay. In the morning, we’ll continue our journey to Alassio on the beautiful Italian Riviera, staying at the Hotel Toscana. One of the best hotels in Alassio, we’re sure to enjoy our seven-night stay here.
Experience the most prestigious race on the circuit! See the Qualifying Session and Grand Prix Race. Hear the noise and experience the rush as the Formula 1 cars tear around the streets of this unique principality.
Tickets are for general standing admission at Le Rocher, but upgrades are available.
Take in the picturesque fishing village of Portofino on our first included excursion, admiring its colourful harbour and quaint, cobble-stone streets. Then for the moment we’ve all been waiting for - experience Monaco’s qualifying session and race, complete with the sights, sounds and smells this thrilling sport is famous for.
Then to France for an overnight stay as our holiday draws to a close, before returning to the UK, via Calais.
Day One - UK to France
We’ll make our way from the UK to France, via Calais, and will spend the night at a comfortable hotel.
Day Two - France to Alassio
In the morning, we’ll continue our journey into Alassio, where we’ll stay at the Hotel Toscana for the next seven nights. (B,D)
Days Three to Eight - Alassio
Join us as we explore picturesque Portofino and take in the thrilling Monaco Grand Prix with our included excursions, as well as spending time at leisure in Alassio. (B,D)
Day Nine - Alassio to France
Time to say goodbye to Alassio today, as we continue to France for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day Ten - France to UK
We’ll return to the UK today, travelling from France via Calais and then continuing home. (B)
Dating from the 1930s, the quaint Hotel Toscana is just a short stroll from the beach and is considered one of the best hotels in charming Alassio. The hotel boasts a wellness area and gym.

Full Day: Monaco Grand Prix
The highlight of our holiday, the Monaco Grand Prix is sure to be an event unlike any other. Taking place on the Circuit de Monaco, a historical street circuit that has been since 1929. Considered one of the sport’s most glamorous circuits, the Circuit de Monaco is also notoriously dangerous and is one of the hardest on the calendar for the drivers. It’s this circuit only that boasts a long tunnel, meaning the drivers have to adjust their eyes to the changing light, which makes this circuit even more challenging.
Watch the thrilling Monaco Grand Prix, soak up the incredible atmosphere here, and admire Monaco’s beautiful harbour and famous casino. Be sure to enjoy a walk through the F1 village, with the opportunity to buy unique F1 merchandise.
Full Day: Monaco Grand Prix Qualifying Session
Watch the thrilling qualifying session in Monaco, with three gripping runs to take in. Find out which teams will be in pole position, and enjoy an hour of incredible F1 racing. We’ll be sure to arrive as early as possible to take in all of the action, and to soak up the electric atmosphere at this incredible event.
Full Day: Portofino
Discover the pretty village of Portofino, hidden away in a peaceful coastal inlet shielded by olive clad slopes. The view from the harbour is unforgettable and one could spend the entire day admiring it.
We’ll be able to explore a wide range of attractions while in Portofino, including enjoying views of Castello Brown and visiting the Church of St. Martin, the Church of St. George and the Santa Maria Assunta oratory.
Half Day: San Remo
We’ll take a trip to San Remo, a city on the Mediterranean coast of western Liguria in north-western Italy, during our amazing tour of the Italian and French Riviera. Founded in Roman times, the city of San Remo is best known as a tourist destination on the Italian Riviera, with its Russian church and colourful harbour.
