Midweek Plus breaks are the perfect antidote to those winter blues! You’ll enjoy live evening entertainment on Wednesday night and four free drinks vouchers to use on one evening. On this break we go to Llandudno, a pretty Victorian Seaside resort on the picturesque north coast of Wales, it still retains much of its traditional charm and is a great place to spend a few days relaxing.
Included in this break are two excursions going to both Anglesey and Snowdonia, visiting a number of quaint towns in both locations.

Day One: Home to Llandudno
Arriving in time for dinner, we’ll travel from the interchange to our hotel for the next four days - the Bay Marine Hotel. (D)

Days Two to Four: Llandudno
Over the three days we will spend in Llandudno we will go on two included excursions. We'll enjoy a trip over to Anglesey where we visit popular Llanfair PG. As well, we’ll enjoy a leisurely drive into Snowdonia, taking in the seasonal scenery along the way, calling at pretty Betws-y-Coed in the heart of the National Park. The other day is set aside for you to spend at your leisure. There are so many options for things to do in Llandudno and the surrounding area, from strolling along the promenade to riding the Victorian Tramway to the summit of Great Orme for fantastic views of the North Wales coast. Day Five: Llandudno to Home
We’ll say a fond farewell to Llandudno and the Bay Marine Hotel today, as we travel back to the interchange and then return home. (B)

The Marine Hotel occupies a fabulous place on the Llandudno seafront close to the very best that the resort has to offer in terms of shops, bars, restaurants and great attractions.

Around the hotel there are great options of places to enjoy a drink in the sun or a bite to eat with a number of excellent bars and restaurants around the North Western Gardens close to the hotel. One of the town’s top attractions is Great Orme, which can be travelled up by on Great Orme Tramway or by foot if you are feeling active. From the top you will enjoy great views back over the town and over to Snowdonia National Park.

Head along the coast in either direction from Llandudno and you will discover fantastic coastal landscapes and a number of pretty seaside towns. Heading just out of town you will arrive at Conwy which is notable for its castle and delightful old town. Further along on Wales’ west coast you will reach Porthmadog and the Italian influenced town of Portmeirion.

In the hotel you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the hotel’s indoor pool, great to wake yourself up before a busy day exploring north Wales. Then enjoy a tasty breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant with great views over the Irish sea as you enjoy a wide and varied menu.

We cross the Menai Strait and pay a visit to the island of Anglesey. Small beautiful fishing villages hug the island's coasts and to the east of the Island, Beaumaris Castle dominates the landscape. Before returning to Llandudno we’ll pay a visit to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysiliogogogoch, or Llanfair PG, the place with the second longest name in the world and a chance to get a photo next to the towns famous railway station sign.


Snowdonia and Betws-y-Coed

We take an excursion into the majestic Snowdonia National Park. The park is made up of spectacular mountain peaks, dramatic coastline, vast open landscapes and farmland. We visit the village of Betws-y-Coed, set in great scenery with nice walks from the village centre including the forest Boardwalk near the Pont-y-pair Bridge. As well as pretty trails there are a number of museums locally including a railway and motor museum, or if you fancy a really relaxing visit settle into one of the bars or cafes in the centre for a well-earned drink.
