Join our scenic holiday, taking in western Austria, one of the country’s most popular alpine retreats. From our base in pretty Pfunds, we’ll also venture across the border to take in the delights of nearby Switzerland and Italy.
Day One - UK to France
We’ll make our way from the UK to France, via Calais, and will spend the night at a comfortable hotel.
Day Two – France to Pfunds
In the morning, we’ll continue our journey to Pfunds in Austria, where we’ll stay for the next seven nights. (B,D)
Days Three to Eight – Pfunds
Explore the beautiful surrounding region with us, taking in the spectacular mountain scenery as well as venturing into neighbouring Switzerland and Italy. You may also choose to join our optional excursions to explore more of this wonderful corner of Austria. (B,D)
Day Nine – Pfunds to France
Time to say goodbye to Austria today, as we head northwards to our final overnight hotel in France. (B,D)
Day Ten - France to UK
We’ll return to the UK today, travelling via Calais and then continuing home. (B)

Full Day: Swiss National Park
One of the first national parks in Europe, today we enjoy some of the magnificent scenery for which Switzerland is renowned. We take the Offen mountain pass, call at pretty Zernez and enjoy the views along the Munster Valley, before passing medieval Glorenza on our way back into Austria.
Half Day: Kaunertal Valley
Heading eastwards, relax as we journey through the lovely Kaunertal Valley and nature park. Enjoy the glacial landscapes and untouched nature in this hidden corner of Austria.
Half Day: Merano
Today we cross the southern border of Austria into Italy and pass through scenic valleys and along mountain roads to visit the medieval town of Merano. See the decorative Post Bridge as well as the old town walls, or enjoy a drink at one of the cafes on the historic squares.
Join us for a scenic drive around the Samnuan, a stunning region, where the Austrian Tyrol meets the Graubunden area of Switzerland.
St Anton Optional
Visit the pretty village of St Anton, famous as the gateway to the Arlberg ski region of Austria.
