    200 years old, and built in true Scottish baronial style the Tarbet has fine features both inside and out. Situated at Tarbet, two miles from Arrochar, it has an impressive location just across the road from the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and enjoys an enviable view across to the heather-clad slopes of Ben Lomond. The hotel underwent a fantastic refurbishment in 2018, with changes being made to all bedrooms and bathrooms as well as most of the public areas. Experience Scotland's Central Highlands, the perfect combination of mountain scenery, ancient buildings and mysterious lochs. Take a boat trip out onto Loch Lomond or visit the Trossachs, the Argyll Forest Park, Glengoyne Distillery or Burrell Collection.

Bella Houston Park, the Botanic Gardens and Glasgow Green are all iconic parts of the city and are fantastic to take a stroll around for an hour or two.
