    Half Day: Local Market

We take a trip down the Costa Brava to the town of Blanes. The local markets here are full of vibrancy and charm with a huge number of different stalls selling a wide range of produce. The fruit and vegetable markets are where farmers come from across Catalonia in order to sell their produce, the most popular crops in the region are apples, pears and peaches. There is also a fresh fish market near the harbour and an indoor market which sells a variety of souvenirs and trinkets. If you're not interested in retail therapy, the town has a charming marina and makes for a lovely place to stroll around and enjoy the atmosphere.
