Llandudno is the biggest seaside resort in Wales and has been attracting tourists since the Victorian Era and you can stay with us right in the resort’s centre at the County Hotel.

The best of Llandudno’s attractions including the Victorian Pier, the Alice in Wonderland trail and the Oriel Mostyn Gallery are all within a short walk of the hotel. One of the town’s top attractions is Great Orme, which can be travelled up by on Great Orme Tramway or by foot if you are feeling active. From the top you will enjoy great views back over the town and over to Snowdonia National Park.

Heading inland you can get an even closer look at the Snowdonia National Park with a scenic drive through it. Highlights in the park include Snowdon itself, the top of which can be accessed by Snowdon Mountain Railway from Llanberis. The towns of Blaenau Ffestiniog and Portmadog are outside of the park but still make for elegant destinations to visit and will mean a ride through stunning scenery on the way.

The hotel sits right on the seafront with a number of fantastic shops and restaurants in close proximity. Inside we have a ballroom with bar and dance floor and you will be able to enjoy tasty breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant while enjoying great views over the seafront.

There are cycle hire facilities available for those interested in taking on the cycle paths. Otherwise you can simply stroll around the lake and enjoy the fantastic scenery.

Excursion into Snowdonia National Park

We’ll embark on an excursion into the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Along the way we’ll visit the village of Betws-y-Coed, the main town of the park that still retains its charm as a traditional Welsh mountain village. On our way back we cross the Menai Strait and pay a visit to the island of Anglesey. Small beautiful fishing villages hug the island's coasts and to the east of the Island, Beaumaris Castle dominates the landscape. Before returning to Llandudno we’ll pay a visit to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysiliogogogoch, or Llanfair PG, the place with the second longest name in the world and a chance to get a photo next to the towns famous railway station sign.
