    Bruges will serve as a fantastic base for our spring holiday, as we begin our getaway with a day spent at Keukenhof Gardens in Holland. Located in Lisse, this exceptional flower garden is the second largest in the entire world and is famous for its amazing displays, with tulips being a firm favourite. Stroll through the gardens, enjoy the incredible scent of fresh flowers and admire the wonderful scenery - remember to bring your camera!

    After this, we’ll spend time in Bruges to explore this fabulous city at leisure. Take in the splendid medieval architecture and be sure to visit the towering Bruges belfry, as well as the city’s many other attractions.

    Our final full day on holiday will see us travelling to nearby Ghent to enjoy the enchanting Floralies festival. With an amazing floral route winding its way through the city, we’ll be able to visit the incredible gardens in Ghent to admire the variety of flowers here, as well as picking up some splendid gardening ideas!

    Full Day: Ghent Floralies
    Every four years, Ghent comes alive in the springtime with the incredible Floralies festival. This amazing flower and plant festival has a brand new format this year, and is set to transform the city centre, with a number of areas within the city dedicated to Floralies. There are lots of gardens to explore, so we’ll be able to learn about the latest trends and ideas for gardening, as well as picking up some handy hints and tips to use at home. We’ll also get to take part in some unique interactive experiences, and explore some of Ghent’s best locations, such as the city’s beautiful artistic quarter.

    Full day: Keukenhof Gardens
    Admire the stunning floral displays at Keukenhof Gardens with seven themed gardens Keukenhof Gardens. Set in a park intersected by canals and lakes, the world's greatest flower show draws huge spring crowds to its lines of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils. Stroll through a carpet of diverse colours and scents, admiring the handiwork of a dedicated team of horticulturalists.

    Half Day: Bruges

    For quaint cobbled streets and attractive medieval architecture, Bruges is the place to go. This city is filled with iconic sights, such as the Belfry, and there are also a lot of museums to make the most of while there. For instance, there’s the Groeningemuseum, which is dedicated to Flemish and Belgian art, as well as the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Folklore and the museum at the Church of Our Lady.

    Bruges is a fascinating city, and we’ll be able to enjoy a guided walking tour of the city while we’re thee. This will provide us with more information about the city, as well as showing us some of the most famous attractions and landmarks.

    When visiting the lovely city of Ghent, we’ll be given the option of taking a guided walking tour in order to find out more about its history and culture, as we’ll travel to some of the city’s most interesting attractions. This will allow us to find out how Ghent has become the fascinating city it is today.

    Half Day: Antwerp
    Belgium is absolutely packed with interesting attractions, and Antwerp is one of the country’s best cities for sightseeing. Antwerp Zoo, the Palace on the Meir, the Cathedral of Our Lady, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts and many more attractions await, a few of which we’ll be able to tour during our free time in the city.
