The hotel is in a popular area of Sandown, not far from the seafront and the town centre. Sandown has all the fun of the seaside with its beach and pier as well as a number of bars and restaurants, but without the usual overcrowding in summer and relatively mild weather in winter. One of the town’s main highlights is the popular Dinosaur Isle exhibition, which tracks the history of fossil discovery on the Isle of Wight.

From Sandown the rest of the island is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Ryde is a short train ride away and has all the attractions you would expect from a traditional British seaside resort, with a huge number of amusements and even a funfair. For great landscapes and sea views head to the Needles and the Tennyson coast on the island’s west coast.

In the hotel enjoy open gardens, great for relaxing and enjoying the great Isle of Wight sunshine. If it gets a little too hot, take a dip in the outdoor pool, or get inside and enjoy a game of snooker or fantastic entertainment in the evenings.
