Day One: Home to Harrogate
We'll make our way from the interchange to Harrogate, where we'll check in to our hotel and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Four: Harrogate
We spend the next three days in the town of Harrogate which is characterised by beautiful Victorian buildings, harking back to a time when the town was a favourite destination for the elite of the era.
We will also enjoy two included excursions during our time in Harrogate, to discover the history and scenery of North Yorkshire.
We visit historic York, where you will have free time to discover the city's famous minster, the Shambles or the National Railway museum, which has a number of fascinating exhibits on the history British railways.
We also travel to Skipton, the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, the town is characterised by narrow alleyways and streets and houses built form beautiful Yorkshire limestone. (B,D)(B,D)
Day Five: Harrogate to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

Head out of Harrogate and you can easily discover the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales which begin nearby, villages such as Malham and Grassington have a classic beauty and the rolling green hills in between are characteristic for their drystone walls and abundant livestock.
Fantastic cities are also in easy reach with cosmopolitan Leeds and historic York both great nearby options for a day trip.
Full Day: York
Enjoy an excursion to glorious York, allowing ample time for sightseeing. Still surrounded by its ancient walls, history comes alive in its cobbled streets and the magnificent Minster, which towers over the whole city.
Today we enjoy a jaunt to Skipton, the town affectionately known as the 'Gateway to the Dales'. With its pretty alleyways and 'ginnels' to explore, there is plenty here to keep you entertained.
