    Burgundy Wine Route and Tasting
    Join us as we follow the famous Burgundy wine route, known as the ‘Champs-Elysees’ of Burgundy. Take in the splendid vineyards and admire the amazing scenery, before we travel onwards to a local vineyard. Here, we enjoy a wine tasting experience, allowing us to sample some of the famous wines this region is known for. 
    Chenonceau  Chateau
    En route: Chenonceau Chateau
    Join us for an en route visit to Chenonceau Chateau, one of the Loire Valley’s most well-known chateaus. This stunning chateau is famous for its Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and for its formal gardens.
    En route: Cognac
    We enjoy an en route visit to the town of Cognac during our holiday. This destination is famous for the brandy of the same name, which is produced here. We'll be able to discover the beautiful Old Town here, as well as admiring the medieval architecture and many attractive historical buildings. 
    En route: Dijon

    Today we travel through beautiful countryside to reach Dijon for an en route visit. Take in the splendid scenery and admire the wonderful vineyards of the Cotes de Nuits, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015.

    Spend time exploring Dijon, taking in sights such as Dijon City Hall, Saint Benigne Cathedral, and Saint Michel Church.

    Lyon
    En route: Lyon
    Discover the marvellous city of Lyon with an en route visit, taking in its many attractions and immersing ourselves in the excellent atmosphere this city is known for.

    Lyon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to a great many historical sights and landmarks, such as its Roman ruins, the Amphitheatre of the Three Gauls, the Cathedral of St John and the City Hall.

    En Route: Millau Bridge

    As we travel to our next destination, we make our way via Millau Bridge, the world’s tallest bridge, which is taller even than the Eiffel Tower. We will stop at the bridge to take in the marvellous views available from it, as well as enjoying time to take some pictures!

    Dordogne scenery
    En route: The Dordogne
    Sit back and relax as we take a scenic drive along the Dordogne, travelling through incredible surroundings. We will stop for an en route visit to Bergerac, famous for its wine production and its picturesque setting. 
    Le Pont D'Avignon
    Full Day: Avignon, Provencal Villages and Wine Tasting

    Today we visit the classic Roman city of Avignon, famous for its ancient town centre. Discover the magnificent medieval ramparts during our time here, as well as admiring the town’s marvellous attractions, which include the Palais des Papes, the cathedral, and the Pont d'Avignon, now all classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    After our time in Avignon, we enjoy a scenic drive through a number of charming Provencal villages, allowing us to take in the wonderful landscape this region is famous for. We then arrive at a local vineyard, where we learn more about the wines produced here, as well as enjoying a wine tasting experience. 

    Bordeaux
    Full Day: Bordeaux and Wine Tasting

    We explore Bordeaux, the port city set on the River Geronne, with its exceptional architecture. This city is famous for its winemaking, and while we’re there we’ll get learn more about how this has evolved over time.

    The city of Bordeaux itself is filled with excellent attractions and surroundings, including Porte Cailhau, the Column of the Girondins, the church of St Pierre, the Church of the Holy Cross, and Place de la Bourse, as well as much more.

    After our time in Bordeaux, we continue on to a local vineyard to enjoy a wine tasting experience.

    Mercier Champagne
    Half Day: Epernay and Mercier Champagne

    We enjoy a trip to Epernay today, before we journey to the Mercier Champagne official House of Brut. Sample the incredible champagne created here, as we take a tour of the house, which was originally founded in 1858. Today, the house produces the best champagne in France and is famous for its Dom Perignon.

    We’ll get to explore the house to find out more about the history of the brand, before sampling some of the excellent champagne that it produces.

    Blois Chateau
    Evening: Blois Chateau Son & Lumiere
    Delve into a magnificent world of colour and light as we take in a wonderful show at Blois Chateau, with beautiful music and excellent lighting effects bringing this ancient castle to life. Discover the history of this fascinating chateau during our visit, and enjoy a memorable experience!
    Saintes Maries de la Mer in Camargue
    Full Day: Arles and the Camargue

    Join us as we explore the delights of Provence with a visit to historical Arles. This ancient Roman city is filled with fascinating sights, such as the remains of the Gallo-Roman theatre, the amphitheatre, the Alyscamps (Roman necropolis) and the Arles Obelisk. During our time here, we will also enjoy the opportunity to admire the stunning natural beauty of the Camargue.

    Half Day: Arcachon

    Today, we’ll spend some time in the charming city of Arcachon, exploring this interesting destination at leisure. The city is known for the Arcachon villa, which boasts charming Victorian-style architecture. We will also discover a fine coastline in Arcachon - why not spend some time relaxing on the beach?

    Palace of the Popes, Avignon
    Palais des Papes
    Avignon’s Palais des Papes is one of Europe’s largest and most important Gothic buildings, with this imposing fortress and palace once being the seat of Western Christianity throughout the 14th-century. 

    We discover this magnificent palace during our visit today, with time to admire the impressive facades, gates and intricate frescos at this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
