Your break includes two exhilarating festival performances at the Royal Hall, an insightful talk from a member of the festival team, plus the chance to fully immerse yourself in this wonderful event from our centrally located hotel.

Half Day: Knaresborough

Perched high above the River Nidd, Knaresborough is a picture perfect Yorkshire town. You will have time to explore the town; the views across the surrounding landscape from the ruins of Knaresborough Castle are a highlight. However, the opportunity to learn about Ursula Sontheil, also known as Mother Shipton is the town’s greatest draw. Legend has it that she was a prophetess or a witch in the area 500 years ago, whether or not you believe the story, you certainly get an eerie feeling around the caves and woods where she was purported to live!
