    Salzburg Christmas Market
    During our break, we’ll  take a trip to the beautiful Salzburg, famous for being the setting for The Sound of Music. We’ll also enjoy a carriage ride and travel to Innsbruck to spend some time exploring this historic city. Our final visit will be to the lovely town of Rattenberg.

    Munster Cathedral
    Full Day: Carriage ride, Innsbruck & Rattenberg

    Today we’ll see some wonderful scenery around the Tyrol. First we'll enjoy a carriage ride, before continuing on our journey to visit Innsbruck, where the city is filled with interesting monuments, such as the Triumphal Arch and the city’s Old Town.

    From there, we’ll journey to the charming town of Rattenberg, where the Rat Mountain forms a backdrop to the town. Stroll along the quaint main street, where we’ll find numerous shops selling the crystal glass the town is famous for.

    Full Day: Salzburg

    Salzburg is famous for its stunning Alpine scenery and is known for being the setting of The Sound of Music, and its wonderful landscapes can be seen in the film version. However, there’s a lot more to the city than just this film, although we’ll certainly enjoy the excellent vistas available when visiting.

    The city is filled with great attractions, such as the many historic churches and buildings in the Old Town. This includes the Salzburg Cathedral, Franciscan Church and Mozart's Birthplace and Residence.

    While we’re in Innsbruck, we’ll be given the option of joining this guided walking tour which will take us to the best sights in the city, so we can learn more about them and visit the best places as a group.

    Salzburg’s sights can be enjoyed on this optional guided walking tour, which will take us to some of the city’s best attractions and will give us more information about its interesting history.
