On the south Devon coast, where the River Exe meets the sea, we find lovely Exmouth. Boasting a glorious seafront and attractive town centre, the two miles of golden sands are backed by contrasting red cliffs, sheltering a tiny bay.

Stay right on the seafront close to all of Exmouth’s attractions and just across the road from the beach with us at The Grand Hotel.
Exmouth is situated in a beautiful part of the South West, just at the mouth of the River Exe. A number of glorious walking trails pass through the town, with the South West Coastal Path passing just over the road from the hotel. Take the path through stunning coastal scenery to the amazing village of Budleigh Salterton, in town there are a number of cafes, bars, pubs and galleries to enjoy before hopping on a local bus back to Exmouth.
Going a little further afield you can discover a number of great towns close by. Take the short trip to Exeter to learn the thousands of years’ worth of history that this city possesses or travel south along the coast to Torquay, Paignton and Teignmouth to enjoy traditional attractions and scenic beaches.
After all that outdoor exercise the hotel is a perfect place to wind down and take it easy. Relax with a drink and take in the sunset in the hotels beautiful gardens, or after enjoying a meal in the restaurant, sit in the comfortable bar and lounge area for a soothing rest before bed.
Half Day: World of Country Life Museum
Make the most of a lovely mix of heritage and scenery at the interesting World of Country Life Museum, which boasts the largest collection of vintage vehicles, motorcycles and steam engines in Devon. There are also daily falconry displays to enjoy.
Full Day: Pecorama and Sidmouth Combi
Excursion to Pecorama, a fascinating attraction situated on the hillside above the fishing village of Beer where there is so much to interest visitors from the popular gardens to the narrow gauge railway ride. We also call at coastal Sidmouth.
