    Melrose Abbey
    As well as hosting the Queen and US presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, the ship also held the honeymoon cruise of Prince Charles and Princess Diana and even evacuated 1,000 refugees from Aden in modern Yemen during the civil war there in 1986.
    As well as discovering the fascinating history of this ship we will visit historical attractions in Edinburgh and explore Thirlane castle, set in extensive parklands in the Scottish Borders.
