Day One - Home to Eastbourne
Travelling from the interchange, we’ll make our way to the Hotel for a delicious evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Three - Eastbourne
We spend two days in Eastbourne enjoying the very best the resort has to offer. One of the days here will be used for an included excursion to Brighton. The major attractions are of course the beach, pier and Royal Pavillion. The Lanes are a charming collection of backstreets, mostly composed of small shops which made up what was once the small fishing village here. North Laine is the area of the city famous for its alternative nature and is the place to find the city’s wilder side.
The other day is free for you to spend at your leisure in and around Eastbourne and beyond. A highlight is the South Downs Way which starts to the west of the town and carries on past the impressive cliffs at Beachy Head. (B,D)
Day Four - Eastbourne to Home
Time to return home today, as we make our way back to the interchange and then continue home. (B)
Little beats relaxing in in a modern coffee bar and lounge with unbeatable views across the sea front as you watch the world go by. At the Burlington Hotel you can enjoy all this in a central location close to all of Eastbourne’s finest attractions.
The world-famous Carpet Gardens, Redoubt Fortress and Eastbourne Pier are all just a stone’s throw away and the town centre with an array of shops and restaurants are just a 10 minute walk away.
The South Downs National Park begins just outside of town and is easily accessible and even by walking you can easily reach Beachy Head and a little further along the coast, The Seven Sisters. Fashionable Brighton is on the other end of a scenic train ride through the park and here you can see famous sights such as the fashionable Royal Pavilion or enjoy independent shops in The Lanes area of the city.
The hotel has great spaces for relaxing after a busy day in the area, the on-site bar and coffee lounge have huge windows opening out onto the seafront, great for watching the world go by. In the restaurant you can enjoy fantastic meals at breakfast and in the evening, with great and varied menus cooked by our dedicated chefs. For even greater space and comfort why not upgrade to a standard plus, superior or premier room during your stay?
We make our way along the coast to the Regency resort of Brighton. Famed for its extravagant Pavilion and ‘Lanes’ shopping area, this elegant resort is a delight to explore.
