Lytham St Annes with its iconic windmill, is the ideal spot to discover the delights of Lancashire from – wide open beaches, traditional pier and beach huts, there is much to enjoy here. With included visits to historic Rufford Old Hall, a journey aboard the East Lancashire Railway and exploring Lancashire’s ‘witch country’ this break away to the north west has it all! We will also take a trip through Blackpool’s famous illuminations!
Day One - Home to Lytham St Annes
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Lytham St Annes, where we’ll check in to the Dalmeny Hotel and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Four – Lytham St Annes
During our break we'll enjoy three included excursions; a trip on the East Lancashire Railway and exploring "witch country", visiting Rufford Old Hall and calling at Southport as well as taking an evening trip through Blackpool Illuminations. (B,D)
Day Five – Lytham St Annes to Home
After breakfast we depart and return home via the interchange. (B)

Full Day: East Lancashire Railway And Skipton
Enjoy a journey aboard the lovingly preserved East Lancashire Railway. Relax as we criss-cross the River Irwell and take in the spectacular scenery of the West Pennine Moors. On then to discover Lancashire’s ‘Witch Country’ centred around legendary Pendle Hill and visit the market town of Skipton – affectionately known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’.
Full Day: Evening trip to Blackpool Illuminations
Evening drive along Blackpool’s famous promenade to admire the world-famous Illuminations.
Rufford Old Hall and Southport
Excursion visiting Rufford Old Hall, with over 500 years of Hesketh family history to discover as well as beautiful Victorian style gardens. We continue on to visit popular Southport with free time to explore.
