Day One - UK to Radebeul
Fly from your chosen airport to Dresden, where you will be met and transferred to our hotel in Radebeul for five nights. (D)

Day Two - Saxon Switzerland
Enjoy our excursion into Saxon Switzerland, where we will see the Bastei Bridge and call at pretty Pirna. (B,D)

Day Three - Radebeul
Venture out to explore the interesting city of Dresden at your own pace, or relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. (B,D)

Day Four - Radebeul
A day at leisure, or you may choose to join our optional excursion. (B,D)

Day Five - Dresden
Today we head into Dresden and enjoy an intimate classical concert at the Zwinger Palace, with the rest of the day to explore. (B,D)

Day Six - Radebeul to Wurzburg
We leave Dresden and call at Bayreuth on our way to Wurzburg. This evening venture out at your leisure to enjoy the wine festival. (B,D)

Day Seven - Franconian vineyard
We visit the Deppisch winery and vineyard, then this evening have time at leisure to visit the wine festival. (B,D)

Day Eight - Wurzburg to UK
Transfer to Frankfurt airport for your return flight home. (B)

Included Excursions

En-Route: Bayreuth

On our way to Wurzburg, we visit the beautiful city of Bayreauth and enjoy a guided tour, as well as seeing the Margravial Opera House, considered the most beautiful Baroque Theatre in Europe and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Full day: Dresden And Zwinger Classical Performance

We head into the beautiful city of Dresden, where we enjoy an intimate musical performance at the historic Zwinger Palace from the Dresden Residenz Orchestra,  who will play pieces from Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven – this session is called ‘The Vienna Classics’. After, have free time to discover the city, where top sights include the magnificent Frauenkirche.


Full day: Saxon Switzerland

Journeying into the Saxon Switzerland National Park, we will see the dramatic rock formations of the Bastei Bridge. We’ll call at the pretty town of Pirna on our way back to Dresden.


Half day: Franconian vineyard

Enjoy the scenery of Franconia, we we take you to one of the region’s wineries to enjoy a tour and tasting. You’ll have time later back in Wurzburg to taste more of the local produce in your own time at the city’s wine festival.

Guided tour Wurzburg

Learn more about this beautiful city’s history and landmarks on our interesting guided tour. Some of the places to see include the historic town bridge and market square, with the backdrop of the hilltop Marienberg Fortress and surrounding vineyards.


Meissen And Bautzen

Join our optional trip as we visit the pretty towns of Meissen and Bautzen. We call at Meissen, with its beautiful medieval centre and famous for its porcelain which was originally produced in the castle here. In Bautzen, you can admire more medieval buildings across the wonderful city skyline of towers and spires.
