Day One - Depart UK
In the morning of day one, we’ll make the journey from the UK to Fondo, which will see us travelling via Calais. From there, we’ll travel through the night on our overnight express coach.
Day Two - Arrive in Fondo
We arrive in Fondo late morning and have time to settle into our hotel, the Hotel Lady Maria, for our first night in this charming Italian town. (D)
Days Three to Seven - Fondo
We'll spend another five days in wonderful Fondo, enjoying three included excursions during our time there. We’ll explore the Dolomites with a grand tour, as well as taking a trip to Lake Garda and discovering the lovely town of Merano. (B,D)
Day Eight - Depart Fondo
As our holiday draws to a close, we’ll say goodbye to Fondo and will travel through the night on our overnight express coach to Calais. (B)
Day Nine - Arrive in UK
We’ll then return to the UK via Calais, and will take the coach back to our local joining points.

Full Day: Grand Dolomites Tour
The Dolomites feature an incredible variety of diverse landscapes, from lush valleys to towering peaks, as well as breath-taking panoramas at every turn. These beautiful mountains offer endless opportunities for exploration on our coach tour, as we take in the splendid scenery here and stop for a number of photo opportunities!
Full Day: Lake Garda
Riva del Garda is one of the most popular destinations on Lake Garda and is the only tourist resort located on the northern side of the lake.
Full Day: Merano
Merano is a picturesque town in northern Italy, where we’ll find stunning medieval architecture, including fairy-tale castles, churches and narrow alleyways. Generally best known for its spa resorts, it is located within a basin, surrounded by mountains, at the entrance to the Passeier Valley. We’ll get to spend the day here, taking in the superb sights and attractions during our excursion.
Full Day: Brenta Dolomites
The Brenta Dolomites is a mountain range in the Southern Limestone Alps mountain group. They are not a part of Dolomites mountain ranges, though are sometimes called the "Western Dolomites". A part of the Brenta Dolomites is located in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. The Park features paths, rock-climbing trails and wonderful mountain biking itineraries in addition to panoramic routes and excursions, welcoming mountain huts and dairies where traditional local products can be savoured.
Half Day: Bolzano
We’ll explore the delightful city of Bolzano in northern Italy during our holiday, and we’ll be able to spend a few hours discovering the many sights in this city. It’s known for being a quiet location in which we’ll be able to relax to our heart’s content, and we’ll also be able to enjoy the amazing scenery to be found in the city.
The alpine views and many small shops we’ll be able to go into will mean we’re sure to have an excellent day here, as we’ll be able to take lots of holiday photos and can pick up some great souvenirs.
There are also quite a few attractive sights in the city, such as the statue of Walther von der Vogelweide on Walther Square, the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, the gothic Bolzano Cathedral and the Bolzano Victory Monument.
Lake Garda cruise
Relax as we cruise on the beautiful waters of Lake Garda, which is the largest in Italy. The lake is surrounded on all sides by dramatic mountains that become even more imposing and dramatic when you get on the water. You'll also enjoy great views of the many beautiful resorts that dot the lake's shoreline on this fantastic cruise that you'll remember for a long time to come.
Merano Guided Walking Tour
Enjoy an excellent guided walking tour of Merano, a charming Italian town. During our time here, we’ll be able to take in the splendid sights in this picturesque location, including the beautiful medieval architecture and the town’s castles, for which it is famous. We’ll get to learn more about Merano while we’re here as well, as our experienced guide takes us around the town to see the sights.
