The Local Area

Included Excursions

Jaunt to Street

We take a trip to the beautiful village of Street, set in the heart of Somerset, in stunning countryside. You'll have free time to explore the village which has a beautiful lido with a splash pool play area, water jets and spray fountains, a great option if the weather is playing ball! Or take a walk out on the Samaritans Way which ends in the town, there are a number of fascinating walks possible through the surrounding countryside.

Trip to Cardiff

We visit the capital city of Wales, Cardiff. The city has changed a lot in modern times and emerged from a post-industrial lull to become one of the nation’s top tourist attractions. Cardiff Bay, which was the focus for much regeneration during the 1990s, is now seen as one of the leading shopping districts in the country. For something a little older, give Cardiff Castle a try, the current castle is built on a Roman fort which dates back almost 2,000 years.
