Full Day: New Forest and Portsmouth

Our sightseeing takes us to the tranquil New Forest to see the ancient woodlands, wilderness heaths and pretty villages - we may even spot one of the ponies! It's then on to the maritime city of Portsmouth where highlights include the historic docks, with legendary ships HMS Victory and The Mary Rose. A trip up Spinnaker tower is a fantastic vantage point to see not only Portsmouth but the wider South Coast as well.

Excursion to the interesting medieval city of Salisbury, the town's highlight is undoubtedly the Cathedral, with Britain’s tallest spire and housing an original version of the Magna Carta. Just outside the city, easily accessed by bus is Old Sarum, the original settlement here and a fascinating insight into the ancient history of the region.
