Stay with us on the shores of Oban Bay, within easy reach of some of Scotland’s most majestic and beautiful scenery, with the diverse Islands and the immensity of the Highlands close by.

The town of Oban is just a short walk away with a number of places here to sample  local produce including delicious seafood and the refined and elegant whiskeys that the region is famous for. There’s also plenty to explore in town, head up to McCaig’s Tower for a great view over the Sound of Mull, or visit Dunollie or Dunstaffage Castle to learn a little about the history of Oban.

Magnificent Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park can be easily reached from Oban and makes a great day trip. For perhaps even greater scenery though board a ferry and head out onto the islands that dot the sea off Scotland’s West Coast. Mull, the Isle of Lismore and Kerrera, just across Oban Bay all make fantastic day trips offering superb scenery and a sense of solitude and wilderness that is incomparable almost anywhere in the UK.

In the hotel enjoy fantastic views over Oban Bay while sipping a tasty drink in the bar and lounges after a long day enjoying Scotland’s natural beauty. In the main season you can enjoy live evening entertainment in the lounge as well as tasty breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant. In-room we offer comfort and serenity, with the possibility of upgrading to Standard Plus, Premier and Superior rooms for even greater space and relaxation while you stay with us.

Trip to Inveraray

Situated on the banks of Loch Fyne and home to the Duke of Argyll at the towns castle, Inverary is a beautiful white-walled town. As well as the grand castle, the imposing Georgian Inverary Jail is a fascinating experience, the living museum allows you the opportunity to see the re-enactment of trials and how inmates lived in the 19th century.
