Sorry, this holiday is currently not on sale

Antwerp is famous for its spectacular architecture, in particular the astounding medieval Grote Markt with its many intricate guildhalls. We’ll be staying at the Scandic Hotel, just a short distance from the city centre, and will begin our holiday with an excursion to nearby Ghent.

This superb city has a number of excellent attractions, with its medieval buildings being one of the most beautiful sights - there’s the old post office, Saint Nicholas Church, the Belfry of Ghent, and Saint Bavo Cathedral. As well as this, Ghent has a fair few museums to discover, such as the Museum of Fine Arts with art from Hieronymus Bosch, Peter Paul Rubens and many others, and the Ghent City Museum.

On Christmas Eve, we’ll enjoy time at leisure in Antwerp in order to thoroughly explore this superb city. Aside from the Grote Markt, be sure to look out for sights such as the Cathedral of our Lady, the MAS Museum, the Plantin-Moretus Museum, Brabo Fountain, and the Steen - Antwerp’s oldest building!

As well as all of this, we’ll also get to celebrate Christmas Day with a wonderful meal at our hotel, as well as festivities throughout the day.
