Step into spring with our wonderful Bruges and Dutch Bulbfields tour, which will see us explore some of Holland and Belgium’s best attractions. From our base in Bruges, we’ll discover the mesmerising Keukenhof Gardens, as well as spending free time in beautiful Bruges and visiting the cultural highlight that is Antwerp.
We’ll have a superb holiday, staying at the Velotel hotel in Bruges. We’ll be ideally placed for all our tour offers, as we make our way to Lisse in nearby Holland to explore the Keukenhof Gardens. The world’s second-largest flower gardens; Keukenhof is always an amazing experience, and this spring’s floral displays are sure to be just as wonderful.
After our time at Keukenhof, we’ll have free time to enjoy Bruges so we can discover this medieval city’s many attractions. From the famous Bruges Belfry to its interesting museums, Bruges has something for everyone.

Our final full day on holiday will be spent in Antwerp, one of Belgium’s most vibrant cities. With its brilliant architectural delights and numerous sights, this city is sure to please. We’ll be able to explore at leisure to discover its many things to do, including visiting the opulent Grote Markt with its Renaissance Guildhalls and the Brabo fountain.

Day One - UK to Bruges
We’ll make our way from the UK to Bruges, via Calais, where we’ll stay at the Velotel hotel for the next four nights.

Days Two to Four - Bruges
We’ll have a great time, with excursions to brilliant Keukenhof Gardens, free time in Bruges, and a trip to Antwerp to make the most of. (B,D)

Day Five - Bruges to UK
Time to say goodbye today; we depart Bruges and travel back to the UK via Calais. (B)

Full Day: Antwerp

Antwerp, with its attractive architecture and excellent history is a fantastic place to visit, and we’re sure to enjoy our day spent there. We’ll be able to look forward to everything from shopping to visiting attractions, and there’ll be time to enjoy lunch at one of the many cafes or restaurants in the city as well.

There are a number of ‘must-see’ sights in the city, such as the Cathedral of Our Lady, Rubens House, the Museum aan de Stroom (MAS) and the Museum Plantin-Moretus. We’ll be able to tour some of these attractions during our stay in the city, and will also be able to wander through the streets admiring the pretty architecture.


Full Day: Keukenhof Gardens

Experience the dazzling floral displays in the seven themed gardens with a never-ending variety of spring bulbs and flowers. Admire beautiful tulips, daffodils, narcissi, hyacinths and many other varieties of flowers, taking in the kaleidoscope of colour.


Half Day: Bruges

For quaint cobbled streets and attractive medieval architecture, Bruges is the place to go. This city is filled with iconic sights, such as the Belfry, and there are also a lot of museums to make the most of while there. For instance, there’s the Groeningemuseum, which is dedicated to Flemish and Belgian art, as well as the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Folklore and the museum at the Church of Our Lady.


Optional Excursions

Antwerp Guided Walking Tour

Enjoy a guided walking tour of Antwerp to see the main sights this fashionable city has to offer from the famous Cathedral to the Antwerp Central Station which is regularly high up in the best train stations in the world polls.


Bruges Guided Walking Tour

Bruges is a fascinating city, and we’ll be able to enjoy a guided walking tour of the city while we’re there. This will provide us with more information about the city, as well as showing us some of the most famous attractions and landmarks.


Half Day: Ghent

Comprising a mixture of French and Flemish cultures, Ghent is often referred to as the historic heart of Flanders and is certainly filled with wonderful things to do. This charming destination is home to a number of attractions, such as the Graslei port and Saint Bavo Cathedral. It too has a historic belfry which we’ll be able to visit while we’re there, as well as enjoying a spot of shopping or trying out one of the many cafes or restaurants in the city.
