More than just an air show, Bournemouth Air Festival combines excitement in the skies with a party atmosphere on the ground. Vintage aircraft, chinooks, hurricanes, spitfires and the Red Arrows will draw your eyes to the skies, whilst on land there is plenty of action with funfairs, military villages with vehicle demonstrations and a host of food and drink stalls. There’s even a whole host of impressive military ship displays on Bournemouth‘s picture-postcard horizon.

Itinerary

Day One: Home to Bournemouth
We depart the interchange and travel to Bournemouth where we check into our hotel and enjoy an evening meal.

Days Two  to Three: In Resort     
Over the next two days you will have free time in Bournemouth to discover the very best flying displays at Bournemouth Air Festival. The free festival features a number of different planes in great displays as well as sea performances from the Royal Navy and a number of great attractions on land on the promenade and the beach.

You will also have time to explore Bournemouth; the town has great attractions with a beautiful beach and a fantastic oceanarium containing over 150 different species of marine animal. The town also has a number of fantastic bars and restaurants if you have the energy to venture out to them in the evening.

Day Four: Bournemouth to Home
After breakfast we depart and return home via the interchange.

Our hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the train station from where you can reach the beautiful areas of the New Forest and the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the historic city of Southampton.

As well as the huge number of different attractions you can enjoy around the hotel there are plenty of things to enjoy within the Majestic itself. The hotel has a beautiful outdoor pool, snooker room, ballroom and a magnificent bar. In the restaurant you can enjoy delicious meals at breakfast and in the evening and we also offer the option to upgrade to a standard plus room for even more space and comfort during your stay.
