We travel to the old town of Freiburg, known as the gateway to the southern Black Forest and home to the magnificent 'Muster', a dark red sandstone Cathedral, as well as a beautifully preserved Old Town. We continue our journey as we venture onto Titisee with its natural drinking water reservoir and nature reserve with its picturesque waterfront promenade. Titisee is also famous for making the world renowned Hones cuckoo clocks.

At the heart of the Black Forest, today we will visit charming Triberg, famous for Germany’s highest waterfall and the Black Forest Museum. Strasbourg is the ultimate European city. It has flavours of both France and Germany, and sits right on the border of the two countries. Its picturesque 'La Petite France' neighbourhood looks like something straight out of a fairy-tale book.
