Day One - Home to North Wales
We’ll make our way from the interchange to our overnight hotel in North Wales where we’ll enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Day Two – From North Wales to Dublin
Today we catch the ferry to Dublin, then on to the Clarion Liffey Valley Hotel, where we’ll spend our next two nights, with tea/coffee and scones on arrival. (B,D)
Day Three – At leisure in Dublin
Vibrant Dublin is all yours to discover. (B,D)
Day Four – Dublin to Waterford via Kilkenny
Today we head south, calling in at medieval Kilkenny en route to maritime Waterford, where we stay for the next two nights at the welcoming Dooleys Hotel. There will be a welcome punch reception on arrival. (B,D)
Day Five – Waterford
Spend today as you choose. (B,D)
Day Six – Waterford to Killarney via Blarney
You’ve heard about the Blarney Stone? Well today we see it with our own eyes, as we visit Blarney Castle. We continue on to Killarney for our two night stay at the Evistion House Hotel. There is an included glass of Guinness this evening. (B,D)
Day Seven – The Ring of Kerry
Stunning seascapes and soaring mountains ahead as we embark on a one-hundred mile sightseeing spectacular along the coastal roads of the Ring of Kerry. (B,D)
Day Eight – Killarney to Lisdoonvarna
Today we travel to Lisdoonvarna via the Cliffs of Moher. A truly spectacular sight, the majestic cliffs rise nearly 200 metres from the Atlantic Ocean. We settle in for two nights here with a glass of wine with dinner this evening. (B,D)
Day Nine – At leisure in Lisdoonvarna
Enjoy a day at leisure. (B,D)
Day Ten – Lisdoonvarna to Westport
Following Galway Bay into Connemara, we take the scenic route, then on to Killary Harbour for a unique chance to cruise down Ireland’s only fjord. Later we arrive at the Westport Woods Hotel, our base for the next two nights. There will be a welcome punch reception on arrival. (B,D)
Day Eleven- Achill Island and the Atlantic Coast
As we head north to Newport, prepare to be amazed by Achill and be bowled over by Keel, where the Cathedral Rocks make a spectacular sight. (B,D)
Day Twelve – Westport to Dunadry via Belleek
Today we visit the World of Belleek Pottery, then continue on to Dunadry in County Antrim where we stay for two nights at the four-star Dunadry Hotel with tea/coffee and shortbread on arrival. (B,D)
Day Thirteen – Giant’s Causeway and Titanic Belfast
This morning we visit the Giant’s Causeway to marvel at the 40,000 symmetrical columns which stand dramatically out of the sea. Later we continue on into Belfast and visit the Titanic Belfast exhibition. (B,D)
Day Fourteen – Dunadry to Preston
We sail from Belfast then continue southwards to spend our last night at the Preston Marriott Hotel. (B,D)
Day Fifteen – Preston to Home
We make our way home. (B)
Westport Woods Hotel And Spa
The Westport Woods is a friendly, cosy hotel set in private mature woodland overlooking Westport House Lake. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, spa and wellness centre.
Full Day: Achill Island and the Atlantic Coast
As we head north to Newport, prepare to be amazed by Achill and be bowled over by Keel, where the Cathedral Rocks make a spectacular sight.
Full Day: Giant's Causeway and Titanic Belfast
At the World Heritage Site of the Giant’s Causeway, 40,000 symmetrical columns rise dramatically from the sea. This is a truly stunning site, full of myths and legends.
We also visit the captivating Titanic Belfast, an amazing state-of-the-art visitor attraction telling the story of the ill-fated vessel.
Full Day: Ring of Kerry including Kerry Bog Village
We take a stunning 100-mile scenic drive around some of the Atlantic Coast’s most inspiring scenery. We pass through picturesque villages, taking in sites of great historical interest. Don’t miss the stunning views at Ladies View. We also visit Kerry Bog Village, giving you a fascinating insight into life in 18th-century Ireland during the famine.
