You will have free time to explore the Minister, quaint shops and historic pubs on the Shambles, the city walls or the recently restored Jorvik Viking centre, to get a real feel of York’s past. There’s no chance of not finding something to suit you for an afternoon in this incredible city.

Trip to Whitby

Today we travel through the beautiful scenery of the North York Moors passing stunning, internationally important heather moorland, woodland and forest, stunning landscape and attractive villages to the picturesque seaside town of Whitby. Here you will have time to explore the town and the pretty area around the port. Why not try some delicious kippers or one of the quayside fish and chip shops that the town is famous for. Or learn about two of the most important figures associated with the town, Captain James Cook and Dracula.
