We travel to Morecambe via the interchange, enjoying an evening meal after check in at the Bay Strathmore Hotel.
Day Two to Four:
We take a trip to the nearby historic Lancaster where you will have free time to explore the very best the city has to offer. On the return journey we will call at Morecambe's Festival Market a traditional covered market with over 100 stalls.
We’ll also travel into the Lake District, visiting the towns of Kendal, Bowness and Ambleside on our way to Lake Windermere, where we’ll enjoy fantastic views on a cruise of the lake.
The other day is for you to enjoy at leisure. Morecambe has a number of great attractions, many centered along the promenade which stretches the seafront and views from here both out to sea and back inland are fantastic, with sunsets being particularly spectacular.

Bowness and Lake Windermere cruise
We make our way to the glorious Lake District, stopping firstly at Bowness. William Wordsworth said, “Windermere ought to be seen both from its shores and from its surface. None of the other Lakes unfold so many fresh beauties to him who sails upon them.” Taking his advice we will be taking the ferry from Bowness to Ambleside which is truly an experience of a lifetime. After some time in Ambleside we’ll return back to Morecambe.
Lancaster and Morecambe's Festival Market
Join us on a trip to the historical city of Lancaster, as we enjoy free time to explore the city before returning to our base in Morecambe, where we call at Morecambe's Festival Market - a traditional, covered market with over 100 stalls. Soak up the festive atmosphere here and discover a fantastic selection of local wares and goods - many of which would make excellent Christmas gifts!
