Make the most of your time away with one of our exclusive Bay Inclusive Breaks. On this trip we will travel to Ilfracombe, on an extremely beautiful portion of the Devon Coastline there are plenty of magnificent beaches and views to enjoy. Included in this holiday are excursions to Barnstaple and the Darlington Crystal factory.
Bay Inclusive breaks include return coach travel, breakfast and evening meal, two sightseeing excursions and four drinks vouchers per person per night.
Day One - Home to Ilfracombe
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Ilfracombe, where we’ll check in to the Dilkhusa Hotel and will enjoy a sumptuous evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Four - Ilfracombe
Over our three days in Ilfracombe we’ll go on two included excursions. We take an excursion to the attractive market town of Barnstaple, North Devon’s oldest and largest town, nestled in the Taw Valley. Our other excursion is to the Darlington Crystal factory where we’ll take a tour and enjoy cream tea before visiting the Atlantic Shopping Village. . The other day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure in and around Ilfracombe. The town boasts fantastic seafood restaurants and a buzzing café culture, Lundy Island is close by and offers an opportunity to see puffins and seals or a short way down the coast is the beach at Woolacombe. Day Five - Ilfracombe to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

Dilkhusa Grand Hotel
The Dilhusa Grand is perfectly situated hotel in the centre of the attractive town of Ilfracombe very close to the high street which has a number of fantastic independent shops, bars and restaurants.
Just across the road from the hotel are the wonderful Jubilee Gardens which contain the fascinating Ilfracombe Museum and the Landmark theatre. Or if you are feeling a bit more active head to the top of Capstone Parade, the cliff that overlooks town for great views back across Ilfracombe.
The town is perfectly situated between Exmoor and the North Devon Heritage coast, both of which have stunning coastal views and an amazing variety of wildlife across the two regions. Especially easy to reach by both bus and car is the quaint resort of Woolacombe which is famous for its vast and pretty sandy beach.
In the hotel you can relax in modern bars and lounges with evening entertainment on a regular basis and enjoy plenty of dining options in the restaurant which has a wide ranging menu. The hotel in general is a great place to socialise and meet new friends which will ensure your trip to Ilfracombe is a memorable as possible.
Excursion to Barnstaple
We take an excursion to the attractive market town of Barnstaple, North Devon’s oldest and largest town, nestling in the Taw Valley. Take a walk up to the top of the mount that used to house Barnstaple Castle for a great view of the town and the River Taw winding its way towards the Bristol Channel. Alternatively the town’s museum is free to enter and houses a huge number of interesting items from the history of North Devon.
Trip to Dartington Crystal and Atlantic Village
One of the few crystal companies still producing in the UK, we’ll get to see how Dartington Crystal go about producing their high quality wares and enjoy a cream tea. It’s also a chance to see the different statement pieces the company has made through the years. We then continue to Atlantic Village shopping outlet for some retail therapy and a chance to grab some bargains.
